10th Anniversary of AHTCS
Animal Health Training and Consultancy Service has Celebrated its 10th Anniversary on January 24, 2009. As Chief Guest of the Ceremony,  Joint Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative Dr. Purusottam Prasad Mainali inaugurated the Ceremony. He emphasized that the government should  increase the investment in agriculture and livestock sectors. Director and Member Secretary of AHTCS, Dr. Resham Prasad Acharya presented the brief ten years'  reports in the program. He mentioned that AHTCS has provided services to the people in 52 Districts directly and indirectly. 

The programme was carried out under the chairmanship of Sunita Pradhanang, Chairperson of AHTCS. Acting Director of Regional Livestock Service Directorate, Krishna Prasad Sharma, Chief of Regional Livestock  Training Centre, Prem Prakash Gautam, Chairperson of NGO Federation Kaski, Ram Prasad Subedi, Director of Naulo Ghumti Nepal Ram Prasad Gyawali, Executive Director of Sujal Dairy Pvt. Ltd. Niranjan Shrestha, VAHWs Indira Bhandari and Durga Bahadur Khand Thakuri,  Representative of FELM Finland, Kirsty Kirjavainen, Asia Representative of Bothar Dr. Bidur Pakhrin, Representative of VIVA Ireland, Dr. Ciaran Gobl, Program Manager of Heifer International Nepal, Ganesh Gurung and Founder Vice Chairperson of AHTCS Ananda Kumar Parajuli gave speeches and best wishes at the program.

Joint Secretory of AHTCS Padma Kiran Rana welcomed with his opening speech and Assistant Training Officer of AHTCS Tulasi Dahal introduced the speakers.

The top five VAHWs who provided excellent services to the community, received a token of appreciation of Rs. 5,001. Likewise Funding Partners, Founder Executive committee members,  Individuals and Organizations who provided support to AHTCS were recognized in the Ceremony with a Letter of Appreciation.
