Mr Krishna Bohara is one of the VAHW of Khajura Rural municipality ward no  8 Raniyapur,  Banke. He had taken 35 days training in 2013 A.D with the support of Heifer International Nepal (INGO). He was delivering clinical services to the animals in his locality but was not familiar with the cases of equines. According to AHTCS plan to mobilize LHP for sustainable services in the brick kiln and community,  we choose him for the equine specific training in 2017 A.D and he participated in our training for three days. In that training he learned about equine handling, equine clinical techniques, normal and abnormal behavior of the equine, animal’s and personal safety techniques. After the successful completion of the training he was mobilized in the brick kiln located in his periphery area and got more exposure to equine cases. He progressively improved his knowledge and skills afterward. Then he started to deliver equine specific services to the brick kiln and equine owners carrying Medicine list but now he has established his own Agro vet shop located in Khajura rural municipality ward no 7 ,Shonpur. He said ” Equine cases is additional part of my business and thank you AHTCS team for three days training and support in this field.”
